Hi All,

We just got our Patriot this week. 2008 Patriot Sport, 4x4, CVT2, Autostick, 26e, dealer Tow package. This is our first Jeep.

Problems so far:
1. Horn didn't work. Dealer is sending a Tech to our house in the morning to replace the horn.
2. Tire pressure monitoring system triggered alarm. Apparently they are sensitive and the change in pressure from a hot day to a cold day caused it.

Nothing major to complain about, and the features of this small SUV blow away the competition. Rides nice. Seats are really comfortable. The CVT2 makes for extremely smooth acceleration. Jeep green is cool. The beige interior is awesome and has a very nice off-white top portion. The 6 speed Autostick is nice, but the up shifting is a bit rough. It's kind of like letting the clutch out too quickly in a manual, and feels like a sloppy shift. One of my favorite things is the turning; both the tight radius and they way it hugs the corners. I believe the TCS is responsible for such a pleasant turning experience at any speed. This seems to be a very nimble and capable jeep. I look forward to taking it off road.

:blah:

So far, we are very happy with the value and performance of this Jeep. :smiley_thumbs_up:

Some pics are attached.

Glad to hear you're enjoying your Pat!

I'll agree with you, that the TPMS is VERY sensitive to temperature and altitude changes! Its kind of annoying, but I will admit, it keeps me more vigilant about checking my tire pressure. I still use a traditional pressure gauge and my portable air compressor that hooks up to my cig lighter when they need some air!

Welcome and congrats! Don't sweat the TPM. It's only doing its job really. make sure your tire pressure is per the sticker on the door and not what the prep guys inflated to when you picked up your Pat.

Enjoy.
