colour hant been confirmed as yet, but black would be standard i guess, but supplying them just with undercoat so the buyer can colour match to vehicle wouldnt be to hard, the pic isnt mine its the prototype on a demo vehicle from the dealer, a full build with lift bars etc is planned for a display at one of the dealerships, there is talk that dealers may have the kit fitted as an option for purchase with new vehicles;)

no details as yet to lift hieght, but one thing he mentioned is the strut has a bit added on it standard and that restricts tyre size, the new springs he has designed mean that the plate can be removed which opens the area up for bigger wheels, he was a bit technical but from what i understand the spring is smaller in diameter than the standard one and is tensioned diffrently, i will get him to join up here when he is ready so he would be better in explaining the stuff, which i feel would be very handy to actually have a manufacturer of after market stuff to be involved in the forum

I imagine shipping will put the Aussie solution in a whole 'nother price range than the Kennesaw bumper, but we'll see...

Got a link for that company? Are they planning on offering any other products for the Patriot aside from the lift kit and bumpers? (Rock sliders would be an obvious addition, of course...)

the guys have decided to do a second prototype thats slightly deeper to give a bot more lower protection will have pics shortly, they hope to be in prdoctuion soon with a final product, stu will be joining the forum soon so he can answer questions directly etc...stay tuned

just a quick update from stu
"Im picking up the painted bar tomorrow for final fitment on a Deep Water Blue Patriot.

I've just got back from installing my CRDSTU 2" Lift Patriot Coils and it came up a treat. I also upped the tyres from the poxy standard 215/60/17's to 235/65/17 Pirelli Scorpion ATRs and it looks pretty good."
pictures etc shortly

ive just been sent some photoes, but not allowed to post just yet, stu is getting some proper piccies done tommorow sometime, also he has also put the lift in and it looks awsome aswell, trust me this makes the pat look better than the sema beast.....and the lift is a proper lift done with springs not spacers...and yes a chrome one would look awsome, main reason is the clear coat isnt fully dry and they are oven baking it overnight and refitting in the morning

that is a great question!! I think i would rather have the suspension lift that the spacer. I would like the metal skid plates if it was easy to put in

pricing info to come, stu will actually join here and he will answer all that stuff...im only the messenger atm;)... stu will be also orginising international shipping etc, i would say that if there is enough interest in diffrent parts of the world so shipping would obviously be cheaper if he has a number to ship at one time

ground shipping from California to Massachusetts, for something that weights about 80lbs and is a little smaller than a fender costs around $150 (thats 3000miles give or take a few hundred) so i'm guessing that if you guys can get some really cheap shipping, it would cost AT LEAST $150, or maybe less if you ship to one location, but then that one person will have to ship to all different locations, and that would start to get expensive, and then you have a lot of people that wouldnt want to pay for a fender and then have it shipped to a persons house that they never met, and besides that they would have to send money to that person, so he/she can ship it all over the U.S

If he wants to sell some, he will have to sell them pretty cheap. maybe around $200-300 (before shipping). if not, after shipping, the price would be the same or more expensive than Kennesaw.

I hope it works out, that would force Kennesaw and other companies to bring their price down (maybe), but i dont think it will work.

ok not complete yet but close
Here is the message that has just been posted:

OK here's what she looks like painted and on the car as of today. I havent taken the time to
a) line it up perfectly yet
b) put the rubber strips around the edges
c) do the bash plates underneath
d) trim the inner splash guards and tuck them in
e) take proper Digital SLR pics of the setup in a nice fuzzy location

So here it is for today, I should get some time to do some fancy pics tomorrow. Also, waiting on roof basket and Mopar Spot Lights to turn up.

Hi All, after numerous discussions with zbee I've decided to join up and hopefully answer your questions regarding my product.

For starters, the lift is my own design. After working in the Steering & Suspension Industry for many years I decided to create my own Jeep lifts based on the Success and Failures of other manufacturers lifts out there. In Australia, my coils come with a Lifetime Warranty unlike the main big player ARB who only offer a 2yr 40K warranty. My coils are made of a higher quality spring steel than theirs as well which gives me better spring rate and longevity.
I've been doing Jeep Suspension and Snorkels on the side for nearly 4yrs now and its about to become a full time operation (since the Bars came into play). I'm about to do one for the new Liberty or KK as its also known. After that I'll be doing one for the WH Grands.
Plenty of Jeep Product Tinkering to come.

Regards
Stu.

Hi Stu, welcome to the boards! We really do appreciate the time and effort you are putting into this, and it sure shows! I think this is by far the best looking aftermarket bumper I have seen for the Pat. The lift is might fine looking too.

I look forward to hearing you answer the questions above and seeing more pics.

(unfortunately I do not see myself getting either mod as I can't afford either, or the hit on gas mileage as I am mostly on the pavement and only offroad once or twice per year.)

Stu,

We appreciate you taking on the Patriot in your product lineup, and it's clear you put your heart into everything you produce. A few questions:

- How much does the front bumper weigh in comparison to what was removed?
- Will you produce a rear bumper with tire carrier?
- Do the bumpers include mounts that crush - similar to the OE - for absorption of impact? This could play into insurance claims, etc.
- How / do you plan to market these in other countries (i.e. US, CA, EU)? Will there be a distributor network, or direct ship to end users?
- What went into the suspension in terms of lift height, modification of axles (if any) to ensure components don't wear out prematurely?
- THE BIGGIE: How much will these products cost, and how much will shipping be to various countries?

I'm sure others will have more questions...
