I get bored a lot at work and tend to look at stuff on the net. Any body notice these were out there before? Seems they just retain stock height but constant rate so they should solve the saggy bottom.

Moog Constant Rate Springs

Front 4WD, FWD 2007-2010: #81492
Rear 4WD, FWD-Sport 2007-2010: #81485
Rear FWD-Limited, Sport 2007-2010: #81487
Front 4WD, FWD Standard Transmission 2007-2010: #81486

I see the price range is $65 - $85 CAD plus shipping from rockauto.com. Super cheap for any American members here.

Don't see any numbers for newer models.

Just thinking of whoever might not want the lift but want some stiffer springs.

Thanks for the added info! And great first post!

I wonder how well these would work with the RRO lift. Would they cause more problems than they would solve? No sag but cv's would constantly be extended to bad angles, well in 07-10 FDII and 2011+. I couldn't see any problems with a 07-10 FDI, but fix the saggy springs.

Awesome, post back here right after you put them in please. I pm'd a mod so this thread might be name "Moog Constant Rate Springs" by then. And put up a review in that section once you've had them for a month or so. I've seen a lot of posts about sagging springs so if this helps, get the word out.

year and fd2 wouldn't matter since it's the oem spring that changed sizes in those Patriots.
Um, ya that's what I said. 2007-2010 FDI = Same, All FDII + 2011+ = Same.

I think FDII's are just more likely to get screwed up when getting lifted:pepper: I have no scientific proof of that though.

Good find on these springs though.
I'm kinda thinking that these lift kits(STU and RRO) were researched and developed with 2007-10 FDI. But that doesn't affect the STU lift cuz it wont lift an FDII 2" but only 1". The only ppl with problems seems to be newer models or FDII, well for the most part. Remember Tyler when I tried to fit STU and RRO together? Ernie, Jordan and myself all figured a 1" spacer could be installed without problem to my 10 FDI but anymore would be too much which yours has 2" over me right now and you have issues where I don't.
Thanks again for changing the name of this thread.
