This would be awesome for my dashcam, IF I had the auto dim mirror...

I want to install my new radar detector high on my windshield and don't want cords dangling. If you installed one, how hard was it to fit the probes into the wiring harness? I know you have to have an auto dimming mirror for this to work, got that covered.

Does anyone have a wiring diagram for the rearview mirror? I tried looking it up online and thought I had found it. The one I found had 7 openings in a single row, with only 3 wires, but I took a look at the plug on the mirror and it has 2 rows of 4-6 wires each (don't recall exactly). I have a 2014 Pat.

Edit: Just looked. The plug has 2 rows of openings, each with 8 openings, for a total of 16. There are a total of 8 wires going into those openings.

 

Even if you don't have the auto dimming mirror, the wiring harness should be there under the headliner as the LED mirror can be retrofitted.
