Lumbar Support...

I have the Pat Latitude and no lumbar support option. I've had two back surgeries and find I get sore when driving. This doesn't happen when I drive a car with lumbar support options.

Anyone have any ideas to help me? Other than trading in...

I have the lumbar support and it really doesn't do that much--for me, anyway.

Yep, even with my shot lower back, when I get in the wife's car and she has it all pumped up, it's pretty much a bowling ball in my lower back so I deflate it.

amm24dmb, my carpool person I ride with has a little lumbar pillow for her back and she swears by it. I've tried it and it's far more forgiving and adjustable than the inflatable, in seat air bags (lumbar seats) I've tried. May want to give it a try....cheap too.

Your back i$ worth it

Hello, I know what you mean, I have a back injury too. Well you very well know that a cheap lumbar cushion will not do, no not at all and let's face it, the Pat has less than optimum seats. I bought the 2014 without the lumbar support option and after a reasonably comfortable ride in my Saturn I now have a painful one with my Patriot. So I solved this by returning to my back supplies store which locally is called "Relax the Back Store" and I bought a very good quality lumbar cushion. You know what it costs, it won't be cheap, but it is worth it. Since I am not a doctor and don't know the nature of your injury I will not mention which one I have now, but as soon as I put it on my driver's seat, my back screamed "it's about time!" and I really believe this has solved my lumbar problem. As you know, with a medical history your insurance may cover the cost. I recommend you go to the store in your area and sit down and try all of the models. Good health to you. Hope it helps. Chief

Orthopedic Cushions

I fractured my back in three places, on three different occasions, and regularly had to commute over 170 miles a day for many years so back support in a car was very important to me. I use to drive Hondas, which had lousy seats up until 2006. For my pre-2006 Hondas, I would buy the Obus Forme cushions, top and bottom, and they helped me a lot. They are not cheap and there are other companies that make cheaper ones, but you usually get what you pay for. Good Luck!

You can easily buy a seat with the support from a vehicle breakers yard 👍 even just buying the back part of the seat it's really easy to bolt on
