So a couple years ago, my wife got me a walmart brand, $100 dollar 3 ton floor jack. It was not very long after using it that I began to think she was tryong to cash in on my life insurance. Today, I dropped $300 on a 3.5 ton floor jack from Advance Auto and used it. The single fact that the new one doesn't creak and moan while lifting the Jeep is good enough reason to have a good day. Please note that this is satire and I am pretty sure my wife wants to keep around at least a little bit longer.

I paid $159 for a 3 ton Harbor Freight jack about 5 years ago. Don't regret it 1 bit. My brother has a 20 year old Harbor Freight jack too that's never had an issue. I would like to get one of the aluminum Harbor Freight jacks, sooo much easier to move around. A good jack that you can trust is a must-have!

Bought This Harbor Freight Jack and This Handle Bumper for for my nephew's 20th birthday. That kid offers to crawl under my Jeep, I wanted to make sure he had something not entirely crap :ROFLMAO: Seriously though, it's been a solid jack. The foam guard that comes with is pretty poor and tears easily, replaced that as well . Found the jack on sale with a free membership to their discount club. (y)
