Hey All,

Just got my 2016 Patriot High Altitude 4x4 last night. LOVIN IT! Reminds me of my '94 Grand Cherokee... Anyway, I have a set of Bridgestone Blizzak winter tires on steel rims that I use for my Mustang and I was wondering if it would fit my Jeep. The size is 235/55R18 or 235/65R18 (it's at the tire shop, I'd have to confirm). I'm stabling the pony for winter and was wondering if I could use the set.

Lovin the Jeep and happy to be part of the forum.

Looking forward to your help. Thanks.

The stock mags are great but I think the tires are all seasons. I have winter tires on rims I can use. The snow and ice gets real bad here in Canada and the next few months wont be pretty. It's not for the looks, it's more for the being able to get to work when its a **** storm.

They SHOULD possibly fit. Bolt pattern is the same and the overall size isn't too far off. (if its a 235/55r18) if it is 235/65, then no, i probably would not fit at least not without a lot of rubbing. you may have to get some hub centering rings, i don't know if the patriot has a bigger or smaller hub than the mustang.

Thanks "A"... I'll check tomorrow what the tire size is but I'm quite sure its 55 and not 65. When you say say hub centering rings, did you mean wheel spacers? Not sure about that, but the steelies are standard ones.

Not spacers, hub centering rings:

(just an example) so if the hole in the wheel that goes over the hub on the axle is big, it could mean that the wheel doesn't go on quite right and you can get vibes/ broken lug studs. So you use a ring to make sure it is a nice tight even fit. so you'll need to do some measuring.

Thanks "A"... got you on that. Jeep and Ford have same wheel specs. I'll see how the new stock all season tires work in winter for the time being. I do need to pickup the snow tires from wheels direct. I'll talk to them too and do a rough fit and see if it works.

good for you.

nice winter tires...I could use some myself for this time of year....anyways,

many say our beloved riot reminds people of the Grand Cherokee I think.

regardless, the patriot works so nice for myself

went to a thanksgiving party tonight and friend has a wrangler and we

overlooked it, and his costs 38 k , when he bought it, not including

all his upgrades

I know its cliche, on a fixed budget, Ill take the patriot any day
