Hello, my name is Martin Verburgt. I don't have a Patriot yet, but sure thinking about it in the near future. I have a 98 XJ and the wife has a 98 ZJ, but that ZJ is about ready to get traded in real soon. Just thought I would check out the site and learn as much as I can about the Patriot. Anyone in the Colorado Springs, CO area have a Patriot I can check out without one of the car lot vultures hovering over me?

I am the owner of Rock Lizard Fabrications, so as soon as I can get my hands on one of these bad boys (either purchase or find a guinea pig), I'll start a new product line. I started out with XJ products, but had enough interest from Jeep Liberty owners for armor that I decided to go for it where many other companies thought the Liberty did not belong offroad. I'll say this, after just a little over one year making KJ products and the amazing response and success I have had, I have decided to look more into those vehicles that get left behind because most companies just want to make Wrangler products. BORING! I like a little challenge and adventure, so I think the Patriot will be my next project.

Anyways, sorry for the long drawn out first post, and really not trying to spam, but if you guys are looking for a vendor/manufacturer for some armor and custom lift, I'm interested in going to work for you. Maybe the patriot owners could get some aftermarket attention much earlier than the Liberty ever did, and the Liberty is still hurting for attention even though they have proven to be capable offroad and the owners are hungry for product.

So, thank you for your time and I look forward to learning more about the Patriot. If you guys have any helpful info, any questions, comments, suggestions, or requests, please let me know. In your free time, please check out my website. It needs a little updating, but you get the idea the kind of work I do, and what we do on our weekends if you check out the "Trail Rides" page. Since I'm new, I can't post URL's yet, so check my profile for the website.
