Hello,

I am currently looking for a Patriot in the 16-18k range. The choices are between a stripped new model (which are hard to find) and a used model with more features.

I came across this Patriot:

dodgechryslerjeepcity.com/NJ-PA-DE-NY-MD/For-Sale/Used/Jeep/Patriot/2008-Sport-Blue-SUV/3987666/

With the following Carfax:

carfax.com/VehicleHistory/p/Report.cfx?partner=CMO_0&vin=1J8FF28W98D705177

The only things that popped out to me where that it has been driven a bit more than average and the car fax shows a replacement for the stabilizer bar bushings. Are the stabilizer bar bushings a typical early replacement? It this a good buy overall?

Thank you.

Whats considered average driving anymore. It used to be 12K a year, and we all know thats not the case these days. I couldnt upload the link, but in my personal opinion if it seems like a good deal then go with your gut. Just be careful of the popular jeep water leak (2007-2008 models). A good deal means different things to different people. I loved my riot, and if it didnt leak I still be driving my "black betty". Patriots are fun and really the only crossover with actual off-road capability. Goo luck :D

when i was looking for a new car, actually used but new to me, i saw a patriot on the lot. it was a year old in very good condition. i test drove and decided that i had to have one. i think they were asking 17000. after doing some research i found out that a new model is not much more expensive. so i bought a new one for about 19500. and the one i tested first was a base model, nothing powered on it. probably would have come out to about the same price of the new one.
