Hi! I am an aspiring Patriot owner. I am currently looking for one and I have been searching for one with a manual transmission. Is there such a thing as a Patriot with a 4WD/AWD manual? Thanks!

There sure is! The manual can be optioned with the FD1 4WD system. As it is a 4x4, the only engine choice is the 2.4 L 4cyl. The 2.0 L cannot be optioned in 4x4.

My roommate just bought a manual 4x4 Pat on Friday, and he loves it! Its a pretty decent powertrain, and the shift is very easy to manipulate.

The manual is most common in the lower end Sport trims, and may be more difficult to locate in higher trim levels, but is does exist. You may just have to do some searching to find exactly what you want.

Hope that helps!

The 2014 Sport comes in 4x4 Manual 5spd transmission. The Power Value group brings and the tire/wheel group bring it pretty darn close to the Latitude level. One can skip the tire/wheel group and go with the All Weather Group and get what the tire/wheel group has to offer along with some other stuff (tow hooks, daytime running lights) for about $400 cheaper.

I believe that (but do not know for sure) the 2013 came in a 4x4 manual 5spd in the latitude level as well as the sport level.

Thats correct. Also, the Limited trim can be had with a 5spd for 2014, not sure if they could before? I was surprised when I saw it on the lot.

a 4x4 5spd is very hard to find. my dealer had to locate one for me, 400 miles away. they drove it down.

i HIGHLY recommend that you make the trip and bring it back yourself as i think the driver hot-dogged mine a little.
