they are in. and they sound PERFECT. the sound quality is great and it hits highs like no other. only thing is that the bass is not as good at the mid and high pitch. but that is why i am also installing a 10 in sub woofer.

if the pics dont work i also have them on my photobucket. here http://s1305.photobucket.com/user/laxheromaddness/media/20130610_143955_zps60491a8c.jpg.html?filters[user]=135010024&filters[recent]=1&filters[publicOnly]=1&sort=1&o=0

so lets start with the installation.
here they are.

first pop open the cover

now unscrew the 4 screws that hold the speaker in. then disconnect the plug. (for the triangle screw u can use a flat head.)

old vs. new

now connect the stock wiring with the new speakers and put them in. it it a tight fit but all you need is some elbow grease. also i recommend replacing the triangle screws with the ones that come with the speakers.

then put your cover back on and there you go. i also did this in the rain to it could be done in 30 min.

Do they really sound better than the factory speaker? Because IMO the factory 6x9 sound VERY great for a factory basic system, they push A LOT of bass but they miss a little bit of mid-range...

I don't think to replace mine soon, but I want to know your feedback :)

With what? I don't want to loose any of the deep bass, but maybe add some middle and high range to the system!

The new speakers hit the highs and mids much better than stock. The bass is not as good as the highs but I recommend getting a sub with your new speakers. You can also get speakers with good bass (not all speakers are the same) also patriotmb, how can I post the pics correctly?

Did you have to use any kind of speaker wire adapters from the factory wires to the new speakers? I know some vehicles have a crazy plug to the speakers that you have to use. Nevermind, I found that you have to use adapters. The Patriot has to be the easiest vehicle to change speakers in!

You can cut the factory harness wires and solder it to the new speaker terminals, or if you get them off crutchfield it comes will the adapter harnesses. I know people have had trouble finding the correct adapter harnesses from places other than crutchfield.
