Was wondering if anyone knew the percentage of the tint on the rear windows. I suppose I could just ask them when I get there. Anyways I hope it looks nice. I'm kinda anxious because I do not want to take away from the appearance of my Patriot, but add to it :)

Also does anyone here have pictures of front windows tinted you could share with us/me? :) tia

I think 20% would like good, should be pretty close to what the rest of the windows are.
I did my front to at 50%, only because that's the law here, any darker and you get a big fine, have to take it off and it's two demerits on your lisence. That's not worth it in my opinion.
If we didn't have that I would have gone 20%.

varies by state,

each state have their own legal level of tint,
and different levels of enforcement,
such as NY and NJ,
know couple people who moved to NJ from NY, and had to remove tint to pass inspection in NJ,
as for myself, not a fan of tint, dont even like sunglasses,
like to see everything as it is

Is any front side window tint illegal in Alberta? I guess its a good thing i read this, i was about to get mine done.

No front side window tinting allowed

Yes, Alberta Traffic Safety Act 69(1).

Putting any transparent, translucent or opaque material on the front or front side windows is illegal in Alberta. They do enforce it regularly too ($57 ticket for each offence).

Sorry everyone from 'Canadia' I can't locate any tint laws for your neck of the woods..

I had 5% tint on my Audi A6 for 2 years, never had any issues. I trade the Audi in on a Chevy Silverado... tinted windows, loud exhaust (would have been quieter with mufflers!!) and I got cited within 1 week of tinting those windows (only had 20% on the chevy) If you draw attention (negative) you have a much greater chance of getting caught (and fined!!) for your windows being too dark.

I have an appointment to get 20% on my driver and passenger doors this weekend.
