I am looking for a northern Illinois or Wisconsin MK club. Is there anyone around here that has a link to a website or knows of a club? I would like to join and get my new MK all dirty.

I just noticed your location is Niles. I'm right by Milwaukee and Devon. If you see a Bright Silver 2012 Patriot with Westin driving lights on the front, that's me! :)

I'm in Streamwood, SirMarco, and there are a lot of Pat's out here. Mine is white, and since I bought mine in April, I've seen at least 9 other white ones in Streamwood, and 4 of those are Latitudes like mine. I've also seen 2 black, 2 red, 2 charcoal, 1 orange, 1 silver, and 1 blue. Like my Dodge ram, once you own one, you start noticing them more.

I visit the west suburbs of Chicago about every year or two visiting family. There are a decent amount of members around you to maybe start a small club. I'm hoping for something like that in my area soon. Something for Patriot, Compass and Cherokee drivers alike.

We need to get the JeepPatriot.com decals, so when we pass each other on the roads, in my opinion, makes it easier to talk to someone when you see them in a lot. Use to be you could walk up to a person and start talking to them, no problem. Nowadays, folks are a bit more cautious, and sometimes jumpy.

So it's this time of year where I really love the Patriot. You get a decent snow on the ground where you need the 4x4. I say when the roads are dry, I tend to get very board driving mine around. Now that we have snow, I have a blast ripping around.

I saw a Pat heading east on Rt. 19 from Elgin towards Streamwood about a week or so ago. It was getting darker out but looked blue, had I believe black soft 8 wheels and a nice roof rack on it.

I found the blue Pat. It was parked in a driveway in my plow area here in Streamwood. We got 19.5 in last Sat/Sun, my Pat was great. In between shifts, they let some of us go home to get some sleep, there was a pile of plowed snow in front of the vehicles in the parking lot, guys with FWD had to rock back and forth a couple times to get out. My Pat went right through it the first try!:pepper:

It looks good. I wish I knew where it's from.
So if I decide to keep my jeep I am going to put the lift on it. Yeah it may void my suspension warranty but the parts they would put back on are **** still. I could just spend a little coin if they wear out and get better replacement items.

Yeah I had no issues at all either. I was messing around at the HS by my house since they didn't plow until Monday. Steep hills all covered in snow. Also by my work they didn't plow side roads. Some had 2+ft on them. No issues at all.
I did have ice freeze on the inside of my rim giving me the death wobble. Today since it sat for the past 4 days was all good.

I am pretty impressed with my little tank of a Patriot. During the snow storm the crews were removing snow out of parking lot at work and I had to give room the front end loader to get past me so into the deeper snow I went and then pulled out like nothing. This little guy is great and much better that I had thought. I think wife is kicking herself for not getting 4WD in her Compass.....But she won't admit that to me, she had hard enough time saying my radio was better than hers.....
