Check if your latch or anything attaching the hood is loose, would be a start in my books. I don't know what they are called but the 2 rubber pieces that screw in or out at each front corner, may be out of adjustment to hold the hood up snug within the latch mechanism. Maybe add a rubber or foam surround under the hood where it isn't visible to fill some gaps where air can get under.

Thanks Harold! Lots of good info in those threads. I think my bumpers were too high. Going to have to hit the highway and test it now that I've adjusted.

 

all patriots have flappy hoods. it's what happens when you drive a brick at high speeds. It's REALLY flappy when you forget that you pulled the hood latch and didn't press the hood down again
