Help with banging my head

When I bought my patriot I thought I would get used to ducking my head to get stuff out of the back without banging my head on the liftgate. Well I must be getting lazy in my old age and have banged my head several times.
Would the lift kit raise the vehicle enough to stop this? I am only 6 foot but I hit my head on the lower plastic panel where it bumps out where I guess the speakers would sit if I had the boston speakers. What about being able to see traffic light better. When I pull up to a red light I have to lean forward a littl e to see it. I do have the seat all the way up because I like to sit up high so would the lift kit sole these issues?

Thanks

Are you now going to keep your Patriot instead of going the lemon law route? I honestly don't know if the lift kit would solve your problem. I'm only 5'6" and have banged my head on the lift gate.

Not keep it but get a new one. It was a thought I had but now I think I am just going to get something else. Chrysler wants to buy it back but it will cost me 3 grand cause the dealership screwed me. So I may be compensated for keeping it and then I'm selling or trading it. According to the dealer there is no problem with it. Any water that is leaking in is caught by the drains. But I didn't pay 22 grand for a vehicle that lets water in.

That's the curse of being tall, lol! I'm in the same club but have gotten the habit of sidestepping and twisting as I straighten back up, though when I'm distracted I still bump it lightly now and then. I'm more concerned about damaging my BA tailgate speakers as I've got a hard head. I prefer banging my head to the music coming out of them...

I also have bumped my head on the gate a couple times, more careful now. Hell, at least you have a Metal Head, lol.

The light thing happens too, but then again it's better when driving into the sunrise or sunset too. Only happens when I'm first in line at a light though, not a big deal.

I'm tall so the seat being higher is much more comfrtable for me, so I leave it there all the time. I guess you could just pump it higher when off-road though. That might help.
