Sounds good but I thought Grand Cherokee's bolt pattern was larger. I would like to see pics of the wheels.

 

I know my '95 GC Limited's honeycombed rims bolt pattern was the same as they fit but hit the caliper on the front.

REALLY? a "96" TJ? gotta see THAT one!

ALSO, I believe that should read "92-98 Grand Cherokees (ZJ)". those are all 5-4.5" BUT are all 15" wheels.

 

Thanks heckler, I still haven't mastered linking threads to posts. A little time and some more homemade Bailey's and I'll probably get the hand of it.

 

I'm still confuse I'm sure it won't fit because of the size and the bolt pattern...

 

Check my pics, I belive they came off of a 98 grand cherokee 5.9 litre limited as they are polished aluminum.

 

I just came across a set of these at my local salvage yard... FWIW they were listed as a 2000 Wrangler Sahara (16x7). Cheers.

 

is 5-4.5 the same bolt pattern as 5-114... I searched 85 Cherokee and came across these rims, I like them because they are alloy, so they will keep the weight close to stock. with the 16" with a 4.45" BS, do you think they will fit?

ps... offset and backspace correlate to one another right? is there a minimum number for one or the other for a 16x7 " rim, and a 16x8" rim... Seems everyone runs a 5" bs with the 16x8 and a 4.5 with the 16x7, is this accurate? I dont want the wheels to stick out from the fenders too much because of inspection issues.

ps this looks similar to the Moab, I think similar dimensions as well.

 

have you ask first your dealer before you bought those wheels? you should ask them first before buying such thing. call your dealer. if you have others Jeep repair questions, I'd be happy to help you.
