Ordered it 5 weeks ago and picked it up last monday no more cvt its equipped with the 6 speed auto ordered the all weather group, sun and sound and the mygig radio only real visual differance is the cluster, new one is on the left with JW on the window.

The 2011 is on the right. I did remove the export lower bumper before i traded it in. new one has tow hooks so that bumper wont work and may get sold if anyone is interested.

and here is a pic of the new cluster.

They gave me 16600 on trade the 2011 only had 23k on it. I decided to go ahead and get the 14 for the new trans and from what I've heard working for a dealer is 2014 will the last year for the Patriot and Compass platform, Jeep is going to replace 3 vehicles with 1 the Cherokee. The 2014 production run is going to be short for Compass and Patriot so i ordered one early

As far as differances the only visual differance is the gauge cluster. All 14's have side airbags standard in the seats and the transmission thats about it.

The first tank of fuel we got 22mpg with alot of around town driving took it on a road trip this weekend to Kansas City (200mi from Omaha NE) and driving into the wind got 23 mpg engine was running 2500rpm at approx 75 mph. One the way back we burned about 1/4 tank less fuel going the same distance.

In my opinion the tranny change is the best thing that they could have done now you get an actual shift istead of just an rpm change. Shifts between gears are nice and smooth.

I taught about it to

BUT they would guive me about 12500 mabe a bit more for my 2010.

I got now a north edition full off road,,41000 cdn km on it and still have 2 year full warenty.

And its paid for.

Now new one here are like 30 000 p,us atx and interres,,,,,,so goes up to mmm 40000 after 5 year,

So it would cost me. 28 000$ to get about the same truck but deferent tranny,,,,,mmmmmmm. How mutch fixing can i do wit that amount!!!!!

^^ For real! I usually see new vehicles with 4, 8, 10, 25 miles on it, never just 1! How cool that no body even test drove it before you driving it! I like being the first one to pass gas in a fresh seat. lol

I have the 6 spd in my 2015 and it is indeed low. You definitely move without trying. I went up a little mound with a decent incline. Gave it a little gas and it just rolled right up and over. Glad that I have this one over the CVT from what everyone has been saying and the reviews that are out there.

If the CVT had a little more low range and wasn't limited by torque limiting software I would go with that over the 6 speed any day. Jeep used an older "it's good enough" model. The 17:1 low in the 6 speed is really nice. Didn't get a chance to offroad it to see how much better but I have high hopes. Tied for me overall.
