Just checking in with my first post and saying "hello". My wife & I took a Patriot Limited FWD with the automatic transmission for a test drive yesterday. The CVT was a new experience but took no time getting use to. We were very impressed and will likely be buying or leasing one as soon as the lease expires on our 2006 Ford Escape.

Good choice, the 2008 Patriot has autostick on the CVT, people say it makes it work better, but I'm not technical enough to explain the details. We are expecting our end of August, can't wait!!! Good luck!
