Check price

Merced, California

Looking for a right side fuel tank skid plate (oem).
ALL SKID PLATES HAVE BEEN PURCHASED! I took too long to change listing and thank PETER P for the parts.

Yeah , I've tried all legit sites already . Even went so far as being able to order, only to be sent a refund as they were actually not in stock.
My only options are to find a used (right) skid plate or have one fab'd . I was fortunate enough to purchase the oem front and left side but not the right.
Thanks though . Much apreciated !

Yeah. I would like to keep them oem but it is looking more like I won't be able to for this part. I do have the front and left side oem (Ebay finds). I also have the Rough Country 2" lift kit w/ struts and 29" BF AT's. I also plan to install the oem trans oil cooler soon. I think my MK will be almost as good as the factory trail rated model , sans the troublesome FD II trans. I was thinking of going to a Pick n Pull and find a skid plate from another Jeep vehicle that has somewhat the same measurements and modifying it to fit .

I've bought front tow hooks and a rear tow hook from them and they delivered to Australia at a reasonable cost and a reasonable delivery time, both times. It would seem odd that they say they've got them in stock if they don't. At least you got the full refund. Why don't you copy and paste the part numbers into eBay and take it from there?

May seem odd to you but it happened more than once. This time I contacted them before purchase and just got a reply back (see insert

). And I did paste the part # on Ebay and on the web search engines. Tried it all , including posting on sites like this.
Hoping that someone is parting one out that had the skid plates. Probably a long shot , but!

Try looking on car-parts.com. That's a search page for a junk yard network. I didn't see a gas tank skid plate listed on there, but new stuff is added all the time.

Honestly that "troublesome" CVT isn't so troublesome if you take care of it. I love mine, and almost never use the autostick.
