I traded my Patriot in, of 2 years and 4 months, and got a 2015 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk. I decided to pull the trigger and get more vehicle. And, man, did I ever get more vehicle. I've got 2 extra cylinders and a butt-load of extra tech. Aside from rockers (if I ever really need them), this thing is ready to get dirty. 5 different terrain settings, skid plates, rear lockers, cooling, stock Firestone Destination A/T's..... good lord.

I also got the Tow package (4500 #'s 7 and 4 pin), Panoramic sunroof, UConnect 8.4AN, Cold weather and Comfort and Convenience; which includes keyless/remote start, power seats, alarm, etc.

Funny thing is, I wanted a Wrangler for the longest time before owning the Patriot. While budgeting my payments for the Trailhawk I could have easily bought a 4 door Rubicon....Ha. It just isn't practical. Repairs, maintenance, mpg....upgrades :icon_rolleyes: That's a dream Jeep. But, the Trailhawk is something out of a dream, itself.

I remember reading one of the threads on here when the Cherokee came out last year. Everyone and myself included thought it was damn ugly. I guarantee you, look at it again and again, and you'll think differently.

I still want to stay in the community. Although I don't post much myself or have the knowledge base to answer some questions, I enjoy reading everyone else's posts and pics. If anyone has any questions about the Trailhawk I'd be happy to answer them. Here's some pics of the new ride and my growing beard.

Good luck with it! When I was getting my Pat, my dad tried to convince me to get a new Cherokee. It either would have been a Latitude package Patriot or a base model Cherokee based on my budget, so I went with the Pat. That, and I'll admit, I thought the Cherokee was ugly. But over the past few months, I've seen a couple driving around and they're growing on me. One things for sure... the trail hawk edition is SWEET! Nice choice!

Thanks! The transmission is some kind of wobble that some get around 4000 or so miles, somewhere between the second and fourth gears. The 2015's just started to show up on the lots so I'll watch for it.

And there are absolutely no bolt-on lift kits for the KL's. Rocky Road will not pursue it. But, maybe someone will.

I'd really like to see that pic. That's so cool seeing all those jeeps together. My mom got a cherokee before I did. And now everyone in the family wants a Jeep!
