It's seems correct for the FDI. My patriot falls into the same rpm range maybe a 100 rpm less, but I have the 5 speed.

Because of the high gearing of the FDI CVT, it might be more accurate to compare other CVT's at 70 or 75 mph. I want to say I remember seeing it around 2,000-2,100 rpm which is very low at that speed

 

I have a 2011 with the 2.4L and CVTII & FDI. I see around 1700-1800 RPM on flat highway and no wind. I have the smaller of the 2 17" tire size options. I have noticed however that the faster I go the RPM's really shoot up. I almost never go more than 60-65 but once in a while in a hurry I will hit as high as 75. I actually had to do that the other day and it was like 2800+/-. Really high I thought for the speed I was going.

 

I get 1800~1850rpm at 100kph and 2000rpm at 110kph.

I have the Freedom Drive 2 and I'm at 3000 RPM's at 70.
