I used the factory ones. They are fine but there was a learning curve on installation. They are very flexible and one of mine has a dip in the center. On the 2nd, 3rd and 4th, I held it against the car and flipped it into position, which kept them straight.

My only problem with those is that they doesn't match the true Patriot side moldings. They look more like the Compass one...

I need to get some of these myself. Despite being careful where I park, I keep getting new dings. The doors on these things must be some super thin metal as it seems to dent before the paint chips

Pretty nice alternative Petbug!

I live in Ontario, Canada so I am waiting for a quote for the shipping. Dark is a nice color as I don't have any chrome on my pat sport... will fit pretty well with the black bottom of the doors...

Thanks!

Hi Plumonium,

I am a bit curious:
What is the size number of your X-ice tires?
Mine is: p215/65/R16

I have noticed a difference while driving the pat as the tire is lower than stock p205 70 r16...

Good tire but I would like that it exist in p215/65/R16!

Hi,

mine are 215/65/R16. Compare to your 205/70/r17, it is a 1.1% smaller. However, my summer tires are the SRA's which are 3.7% bigger. Except the speedo reading, i didn't notice much difference. Road noise is comparable. I think the giggest difference was the height when sitting in the Pat and definitly the look!!!!
