They're 6x9. I went with JBLs that I picked up on Crutchfield. Forget the model number, but the good thing about buying on Crutchfield is that they give you the needed wiring adapters for free.

 

before you upgrade- open up the door and see if you have a loose connection or chaffed wiring.Either of those will make you new speaker sound just as crappy.And make sure the mounting bolts/screws are tight,a loose speaker loses a lot of energy vibrating its casing instead of producing sound waves.

 

Any good advice for removing the door panel? I tried looking on here, but couldn't find a post
