Anyone purchase their vehicle with this program? Preferred Price is 1% below factory invoice. (Plus - An administration fee of $75 applies to the Affiliate Rewards program.) https://www.dc-rewards.com/indexLayout.do

Here are some examples.

According to the preffered price versus configured (sticker) price - the savings is about 6.3% under sticker without dickering on a Patriot Sport 4x4 model that I priced out on the website using the program. Should you be able to dicker any better than this? Or is this a fair program?

Thanks!

I believe that's what Hubby and I will be using to order my Pat at the end of the year. We get that deal through the company he works for.

Without him around to pull up the website info for me, it's nice that I now get to see it all. Thank you for that. :)

DC rewards

i actually got mine this way. the dealer wasn't happy about it, but that's not my problem! ;)
it is a great deal. they show you the invoice with the preferred price right on it (1% below invoice price). with the discount i saved $2 grand off my truck with a sticker price of $24K (and the sales guy said that right now people are only getting about $200 off the sticker price at their dealership).

Thanks for the website. I think that I will have to call them as they are looking for a Company Code to access the website/control number. Do you happen to know if companies need to be on a particular list to benefit from the DaimlerChrysler Affiliate Rewards program? I work for the State of Massachusetts. Also, do you know if this is better than the Costco and BJ's Wholesale Club incentives?

polka, my company is a vendor for DC, so that's why it is included in the program. i got my company number from my HR department and then was able to log in and get my control # from DC. if you have a HR dept, you should check with them (or check your benefits website if the state has one).

the costco deal looked pretty comparable, although i didn't investigate it that closely since i went direct with the DC rewards program.

Thanks Woody99. I did check out the site beforehand. When I am ready to buy I will either go Costco's, BJ's Wholesale Club or if eligible with DC. Costco's website has an finance interest rate of 5.64%. Not too shabby. Saw your posted pic of your new Patriot. Real sweet!!

thanks. i went to the dealer looking for them to transfer a silver trail rated Sport from another dealer in Northern Jersey, but the red one had everything i wanted, so i didn't wait, considering that silver one was the only one i could find in the inventory search that had what i wanted.
also, that is a great rate from costco. i should have gone through them.

Hopefully Costco's website is up to date with their rates. If not, there is a credit union close by with an interest rate of 5.74%.

I have a niece living Lanoka Harbor, NJ. In fact, my sister and family are renting a motor home and traveling there this weekend to celebrate her birthday. With gas prices soaring, they would have been better off flying!!!

Hey Woody -

What Patriot did you wind up getting? Options, etc?

demolaysgirl, i ended up with the trail rated CVT2L Sport in red. it came with everything except the trailer hitch (don't need) and floor mats (had to buy those seperately). i am really happy with it. i attached a crappy pic i took with my phone (same as the one on the newbie board). i will have to take some better ones in Vt this weekend. what are you looking to get?

polka, is Lanoka Harbor down the shore? i've never been there. our gas prices are bad in Jersey, but not as bad as they could be, since we have all the refineries here in the state (never thought that would be a good thing until the oil companies started this price gouging).

I'm planning to order a Steel Blue Limited, gray interior, 4x2, Manual, driver convenience group, supplemental bags, UConnect, Sunroof, premium mats. Right now, that prices out at $22,110.

I strongly suspect that Hubby will want a tow package added, as well as the possibility of Sirius and the nine speakers. That'll bring the Jeep to $22,930.

He is eligible for the DC discount program with his employer, so we'll definitely be using that. Planning to order mine at the end of the year...might try to sweet talk the Hubby into ordering in October to have it at the end of the year. May try to push my luck to see if we can order in Aug and hopefully get it in Oct. His parents are coming out to visit, and it would be nice to have the Jeep to drive them around in. We'll have to see, though...as I'm budgeting my paychecks to have a nice down payment at the end of the year.

I've already got customized plates on order, in anticipation of putting them on my Jeep. I just can't wait!

What did you order for your customized plates?
TBZKT

Plate-speak for TeaBiscuit. It's an old nickname from the Hubby. Since we're in Cali, I ordered the Yosemite plates. Those gorgeous mountains will look right at home on my Jeep...and the Jeep will look right at home in the "high country" of Yosemite, Kings Canyon and Sequioa...all of which are right at my back door. :D

I'm sure I'll be able to take some gorgeous pics of my Pat when I get it...

I like the way you think! Washington has some specialty wilderness plates that are pretty cool. I want the one with the bear on it. It'll look good on a Patriot. As a bonus, I'm thinking the pro-wildlife plates might appease the ELF activists enough that they'll spare my Patriot. :D
