yeah, those look like mopar knockoffs, from the way they install.

 

I took my Thule's off my XJ. While it looks ok, I wouldn't put much weight in the basket because of the factory rails. They just don't look or feel very sturdy. The Thule bars are going to be taller than oem's or the Rocky Roads.

I bought the oem crossbars and rola roof rack after doing a lot of research but after getting it in and trying to install it the twist knobs that stick out on top of the crossbars don't allow the roof rack to sit close enough for the bolts to fit and it doesn't seem to sit on top evenly. i'm not sure why this is or if I'm doing something wrong? what helped make my decision on this particular rack was seeing a few people with this exact setup and it worked. and of course this was after i cocked and painted it, lesson learned on that.
