Can the doors be taken off of a patriot?

When the doors are put on they are calibrated to sit flush. They are not intended to be removed (unless you need body work due to a collision)

I would not recommend anyone try this themselves.

Wow Jeepkid, do you realize how many posts you have on this forum and don't even own the damn vehicle that it was created for?
I think NASA did less research when they building space shuttles. Buy a damn Patriot or move on with your life.
Are removable doors really going to affect your purchase decision? If they are then I don't think a Patriot is for you.
Of course the doors can be taken off, they can be put on can't they? They are not quick and easy like the half doors on a wrangler of course, they are not meant for that.

I have to agree here Jeepkid. you joined the site in december and you still dont have a patriot? :wow: it took me a week after first seeing one to buy it. ;) Go out and get you one, you wont be dissapointed.

No. The Wrangler and the CJ are the only Jeeps with removable doors. Prior to that Jeeps did not have doors.

Yeah, I was thinking about 13....maybe he got to sit on dad's lap and steer for a while and that got him interested in vehicles...
Just kidding jeepkid...just buy one...then you can ask all sorts of crazy questions.
