I just bought a 2013 Patriot Sport 4X4. I have 18" rims that will fit on it but no tires. I want to put off road tires on them and just wanted to see how big of a tire I can put on without lifting the jeep and where i can find inexpensive tires. kinda on a budget. Thanks.

Ouch, 18' I'm not sure of any off roading tires that'll fit that size, most of us with off roaders run 16 or 15 inches, I run 225/70/16

Not gonna find off road tires for 18" rims. I don't know how wide the rims are, but the widest tire I would go is a 225, and I simply don't see an off road tire for an 18" rim that only 225 wide. most start at 265, which is WAY too wide.
just as a note, going off roading with a larger rim is not smart. you are more likely to bend a rim and you'll have a terrible ride. If you are planning on doing off road, you are much better off sticking with your stock rims. If you have 17's 225/65-17 is a great size with a few options, and if you have 16" rims you have even more options and cheaper options for great off road tires, and if you go to a 15" rim, more options better tires, and cheaper tires.

i mean for right now i wasnt planning on doing and real off roading just kind of wanted the look but maybe i will look into getting a smaller rim for meatier tires
