maybe im a dumbass but i when you go to Big country and put in your year and model in, the only thing that comes up are mirror covers and bull bars....where is this brush guard like the one above in this post!?

 

I'm a little concerned--some of the grill bars do cross the headlights--in some states, ANYTHING that crosses the lights are not allowed. I have the headlight guard on my army jeep and a highway patrolman friend of mine stated that it was illegal, but due to the "historic" nature of the vehicle, it would be overlooked.

 

Maybe they call it a Bull Guard in Mexico. I don't know.

 

I'm not a big fan of grill guards, though it looks great and tough.

Anyone else purchased/installed one of these recently? Was just looking at the pictures posted by KDS.

 

I really like brush guards but I don't understand why people like the bars that cross in front of the lights.. I understand that they "Somewhat" protect the lights but it also takes away brightness and, to me, looks bad.

 

I guess it's like they always say, "to each his own". But personally I agree with you.

That made the fog lights useless. Hopefully they mount it different with the final version for the newer models.
