Bought the Patriot Christmas Eve as my first car. I graduated from Appalachian State in May and am starting as a financial representative in the high country of NC. Chose this car as my first because I've always wanted a jeep and wanted something that would last a long time but could make into my own.

She's an '07 Patriot Sport with 67k miles and I'm still deciding on a name...

I'm starting off with a build thread because I want to beef it up a bit but certainly uncertain of where to start.

Well if you're looking to beef up:
RRO super sliders
RRO lift or STUs Coils(recommend these and some adjustable control arms)
RRO winch bumper or Tactical Armor Group Bumpers
Some 15" rims with mud tires
RRO hood louvers or other

I think I'll take your advice RCGuy, is there another option other than the 2 1/8th inch spacer? I think it could use a bit more.. or do you use a suspension lift also?

RRO lift is 2.125" Lift,

The Stu's coils will add roughly 2" of lift.

It's either 1 or the other, you can't use both otherwise the CV axles start to get to extreme angles and prematurely wear out.

You can't lift anymore than 2" otherwise stuff starts breaking...........ask me how I know

With the RRO lift kit and my 245/65/17 tires I have just a bit over 13" of ground clearance.

2008 FDII will have the same springs I have.

07-10 FDII springs = 2011+ FDI Springs
