Don't waste your time and money. What little gain you would see would be almost unnoticeable. The engine doesn't make enough power to really reap any benefits from a CAI. You might see a 4-5 RWHP gain and that just isn't going to do anything for you.

The only CAI I have seen listed is the MOPAR one and it is BIG dollars. If you do add one make sure you upgrade the exhaust as well. You have to let all that extra air flowing in out.

 

I'm thinking an exhaust might be a better overall investment. Any suggestions? How is the magna flow?

 

You could just remove the intake snorkel for a little more flow. Or cut your airbox/install a K&N like I did which really opens it up.

There are other aftermarket intake options out there but I agree that they aren't worth it.

 

I have the K&N 57-1552 and i love it. But i alo upgraded the exhaust at the same time. I would recommend it.

 

Did you get the full flow master exhaust system on yours or just the muffler/pipe/tip like a lot of ppl seem to be doing? How does it sound? Worth the money?

 

Yeah man. I got the Hushpower muffler, pipes and a black chrome tip. I love it! It's the deepest 4 banger i've heard!

 

Did you do the install yourself or take it to a shop?

 

And do you have the part number? I can't seem to find one on the Flowmaster website that says it will fit a 2012 pat.

I'm sure if I took it to one of the muffler shops around here they'd know what would fit and what wouldn't. I'll look into it and keep you all posted. Thanks for the insight!
