Hey, I am taking mine to East Coast in August too (2nd and third week). Hopefully I will take the ferry to Newfoundland.

 

Better make reservations with maritime atlantic ferry company,summer is a busy season

 

I've noticed that problem aswell. Every time I drive the Pat I get a big 'ol grin on my face I kinda feel bad, we've had some pretty nice weather here and I've been driving the Pat around instead of the TJ with the top off.

 

I love my Patriot as much as the next guy, but shame on you!

Hey, I hear ya... I commute M to F via train (way easier) so even little trips in the evening to the store bring joy. Look forward to weekend trips and excuses to drive... anywhere!! Road trip in July YAY!!!! :banana:

 

Know the feeling...let my mother/sister borrow my Patriot for a road trip from PA to Fla. this week (didn't think their Civic would be very comfortable) and am missing it daily!!!!!!

I'm counting the days until Sunday when I get Blue Steel back!

I made another very important discovery about the Patriot.
MORE I DRIVE IT MORE I LOVE IT.

Agreed. There's a solid, safe, secure and serene feeling when we drive our Patriots. Especially when stepping up from a Ford Focus SE sedan.

 

Tell me about it. I still am trying to avoid taking the Patriot through downtown ATL but the Focus just becomes so uncomfortable after an hour.

 

As much as I love the pat for offroading, the on road (pavement) feel, quiet city cruising, comfortable seats, smooth engine, & great handling always brings a grin to my face. I agree, the more I cruise it, the smoother it seems. Overall, just a fun car to drive.
