I bought these strips of chrome at K-mart for about six bucks on clearance. I think it adds a nice little touch to the sides of the Patty.

If those are similar to the door trims auto parts store sell, you might be disappointed...Those strips have a tendency to peel off and leave a sticky residue on the paint.....I used that on my jk and over time started to peel and leave a very tacky goop on the paint...I had the forest green jk so it was not very visible..with the red it might significantly show

I'm not a fan of chrome, but that one looks cool. It adds character and a nice demarcation line.
