It's crazy how much a liscense plate frame can change the look of your car.
I just got a chrome liscense plate frame off ebay that says "patriot" on it and it looks awesome.

Wal-Mart also has a really cool frame that i might go for, it's a chrome frame with a Bald Eagle with spread wings across the top of the frame, fits really well with the whole "Patriot" name of the car.

What are some things you guys have done to :pepper:spice:pepper: up the look of your car?

Curb feelers.

They're awesome. :smiley_thumbs_up:

;)

Those things are illegal in most states. Laws can be so gay.
Plate frames??
In Illinois they just passed a (yes, gay) law that says the plates can't be covered-even with clear- lens, but the frames have been fine all along.
States actually won't let you line the plate with a frame? Daayyummm!

The problem with the covers and frames is that the reflection of the lights makes it hard for the PO PO to read them, and if a stop light camera goes off, you will only see a flash, which I guess is a good thing for the driver. :D

Wait, I live in IL, are my frames illegal then? It's just a normal frame, but chrome/stainless stee -- no coverl. I don't really get what you meant by your post.

It is the cover that covers the whole plate! There are clear ones and smoked ones!! You can't have them on you cars now!! The cops and cameras can't see the plates with them on!! So they will give you like a $75 fine if you do!

Wellll, don't quote me (I'm usually clueless) but as I recall, the frames are ok but you can't put on the plate covers-usually clear but some are smoked/tinted (the smooth clear pexiglass that goes OVER the license plate).
If the frames are illegal, it would be the first time I ever heard of it.
Hope that helps a bit.:)

I am still looking for a nicer plate frame than I am currently using too. Mine presently has holes for 4 screws but the Patriot only uses the top 2. The 2 empty spaces look tacky. *sheesh*

FWIW, we are finally taking it out on the road on a trip down to St. Louis. Get to see what kinda mileage we're gonna get! *crossing fingers*
