Hey guys, I apologize in advance for sort of bypassing the search feature, but heres the deal we have a 2015 wrangler willys that comes with the 255/75/17 BFG's and black wheels, and I am asking for new tires for xmas, well turns out my dad doesnt even want those tires on his jeep so, question is, can i get them to fit on mine?

Im assuming probably not stock, so is there spacers that I can get to fit them? Or will they simply just not fit?

My mom is xmas shopping TODAY lol and would save them alot of money so I understand I could probably find the answer myself but thank you guys in advance for helping.

I am running a 2014 Patriot Latitude w/ FD2 Off Road

Well, first off, all Patriots have a 5-lug 4.5-inch bolt pattern and the JK like your parents have is equipped with the more rare(for a Jeep) 5-lug 5-inch pattern. Then there's the tires. Something that big would likely need spacers to not rub against a Patriot, and spacers would put the wheels out farther than the design calls for, putting extra stress on the bearings and such, wearing it out quicker. Those tires are bigger than what anybody else here runs, and you'd probably also need to enlarge the fenders just to fit them in the wheel wells, and that would cost you major $$$$$$ even before the spacers and the lift you'd probably need wear out the suspension cost you more.

Roger, thanks guys. I kinda figured that but wanted to check. Also didn't realize they are a different bolt pattern. This is my first jeep. I come from having 1 tons lol more in the 32"-35" world, know nothing about these sizes. Looks like I'll be asking for a gift card :)

Most Jeeps, including the TJ, XJ, ZJ, WJ, and MK as far as I know, all have the 5-lug 4.5-inch pattern. The JK is one of the few with the 5-lug 5-inch pattern.

255/70/15

I understand the 17" would eb way too big, but what about 255/70/15? I'm running 225/65/17 right now and on a tire fitment chart, the 255/70/15 is only few mm taller. its actually short than 225/75/16 and i know some people on here are running that. with the right wheels and backspacing, i think this fitment would work.
