If I did 235 70 17 I'd have to though hey? I'm thinking the 235 65 17 will be good, I was just hoping for that full 1.5 extra inches of ground clearance rather than like 1
Should theoretically just go since it is a good 1 cm higher/wider (Ă—2) than 235x65x17.
i have about 2 cm space between tire and pinchweld when i steer on a flat road.
But not every Pat is the same and dunno what happens in terrain.
Where does it hit? The pinchweld or deeper in? Pinchweld can be modified, search here on the forum. Inner splashshield must be possible to modify as well. Should not be a big deal to fix.
Tire hitting plastic will wear out the plastic normally. The plastic covering the pinchweld covers up metal though and when ithits there you need at least a hammer to smash the pinchweld flat. If it hits the inner wheelsplashguard then wear it out or see if you can move it out of the way with a tie-wrap or so.
