Ooohh, me likey. I'll probably be getting something like that made, except one that wraps around the headlights a little bit, covers more of the front end, etc. Might draw some inspiration from this, it looks beautiful.

i think the bumper looks great. and that stinger :D :D :D but if you use it for towing i would highly recommend having it bolted to the frame. it would be a shame if u were towing and your bumper just ripped right off. the cross member might be strong enough but i don't know for sure. just don't want anything to happen. and keep up the good work.

The metal is 1.5" DOMS which is like one grade below roll cage metal. It cost about $100 for 24 foot section of which I think I only used 18-20. I did all the cutting/welding at a buddy's shop so it didn't cost anything. Paid $15 for grade 8 bolts/nuts, and $17 for a new 5/8" drill bit to get through the steel. I believe the cross member behind the bumper is hella strong. It's two sections about 1.5" by 3" wide. You can see it if you look under the front, in front of the radiator. I don't plan to pull out a full size truck or anything. But I think it'll be strong enough to pull a fellow jeep out.
