Hi

I'm thinking of buying a 2.0 CRD, probably something around a 2008. What sort of mpg to people get for this model (urban, mixed and extra urban)? I'm interested more in actual brim-to-brim calculations, or similar, rather than the DIS/computer, which is usually a bit out.

Thanks lots

Worst I've had is 43, usually 45 and currently running between 47 and 49 and that is a combination of rural roads, urban and distance/motorway work,
overall I have no cause for complaint!

I used to get 380---430 miles on a tank in my old CRD Patriot.

A test was done with 2 CRD Compass's a couple of years back ( under the supervision of the British Police drivers Club ) London to Berlin on a Tankful , standard spec Compass. Enough diesel left at Berlin for a trip over the border into Poland , before filling up!!

Is that by your own calcs? That's better than by Audi A4! How many miles do you get from a tank, roughly?

Cheers
Roughly I refuel at the 470 mile mark and usually have about 20-30 miles left going by amounts filled have previously managed a 500 mile tank load before bottling out and refuelling!

UK 07 CRD 2.0 Limited here.

Currently running at around 43mpg - mixture country roads and urban.

Goes up to 48mpg when I do a couple of motorway trips back-to-back. Never seen 50mpg as I haven't the patience to drive at 55mph for mile after mile :)

somewhere between 7.2 and 9 litres/100km ,depending on type of road and,of course ,traffic.
driving in germany 800km only on the autobahn at high speed (130kmh -190kmh) got me around 12.8 litres/100km
