I'm installing a new sony head unit and just realized there isn't a dedicated +12V accessory line. I don't think i really need to buy the C2R-CHY? I know i can just connect the yellow constant 12V, and shut the stereo off manually. What about the CAB B BUS + (pin 5) on the harness. What are other people using?

For now, I just hooked the 12v constant to the 12v acc. I just have to manually turn on and off the stereo. The can b bus + won't work. it was only .5v. I was doing some reading and the cigarette lighter looks to be an option. Does anyone know if this is 12v switched or constant?
Awesome. But I think I'll wait for a warm day to make the change. Installing a stereo outside during winter was very cold.
