Gaze, for SoJersey your Pat is just too damn clean, pristine might be better.
So it is time for you to get dirty. Take Rt. 70 east to 206 and go south or go south from the Medford circle to Atsion Lake ,north on 206>>>. Just north of the Picadilly, east side, is a fine sand and hardpack road that will take you all the way to Chatsworth. Now that you are prolly almost lost, retrace your steps to your driveway. Take a pic and then wash your Pat. LOL

Lookin' good in the neighborhood! One could 'Gaze' at those pics all day! Great to hear about your mostly positive ownership experience. :smiley_thumbs_up:

I'm actually shopping around for an XJ or ZJ for similar wheeling adventures. My little brother has a 96 ZJ on 33s.

Keeping these floor mats clean is a pain in the ass!

Found a cheap little Jeep bag at Walmart to store my straps, bunjies, and jumper cables:

I also pulled the 6x9 speakers out of my Intrepid and put them in the front doors of the Jeep. The stockers were okay for stock speakers, but they don't hold a candle to these guys:

I still can not believe how clean that engine is! :wow:

And ha - I've got a large plaxtic box in the trunk instead of a bag. :) (And a jerry can, and an extinguisher, and water bottles, and a bunch of stuff under the floorboard of the trunk... )

Every few washes I try to hose down the engine with some Adams All Purpose Cleaner, then use my Air Compressor to blow it dry. I can't confrim it, but with my other vehicles I feel like I've extended their life by doing so.

Gaze, you don't need a CJ or XJ for the Pines, most of the Pine roads support firefighting trucks for those hideous pine barren fires you get.
Like women, a Jeep always cleans up nice. LOL

Got a nice gift for the Patriot today!

Pioneer TSA6983R 6x9" 4 way speakers. My brother in law got them for his birthday in November but traded his car in on a new one this past week and had no use for the speakers. I offered him cash but he said just to take them! I put them in the rear doors so now I've replaced all 4 speakers. Next up will be some Edead sound deadener. Probably going to do a few other small mods before spring as well!

Got a little more done on my audio project this weekend. I'm just trying something different here... It's made out of recycled parts from other installed, but suprisingly came together very sturdy.

I wish the screw holes had filled a little flatter. I'll probably resand them down and throw another coat of bedliner on them before installing it in my Patriot.

Need a new bumper cover, possibly tailgate, and whatever that black box is next to the exhaust (I assume some type of pollution control thing). The check engine light came on shortly after the accident, though she's drivable and moves just fine. Otherwise, all I've had to do is replace the brakes, tires, and ball joint on the passengers side. No serious complaints. The adjuster should be out today to look at it.
