I purchased the Patriot after test driving a Compass at the Carlisle All Chrysler Nationals in 2007... My only complaints would be the slight disappointment in gas mileage and the fact that I've had it back twice for the roof leak. I enjoy the CVT, I LOVE the two tone interior, the 4WD works great, and the vehicle feels incredibly solid. I'd buy again, no question(though I would probably try to negotiate a slightly better deal! ).

Let me know what you think!

Um, I don't think... I KNOW mine didn't look that good when I bought it, and it NEVER will! Kudos. And you were wearing your Pillies shirt too!

#6 ·
Uh, Gaze, what will you charge to do mine? :D

Flawless.... You deserve to be very proud.... Thanks for sharing the pics....

That looks great! Take it she got a wax too, what did you use? I have been considering getting and trying the the NXT2 which is supposed to last twice as long as the origional (my only issue with the origional is that it only lasted a very short time ).

Good job, Gaze! I especially liked what you did on the wheel wells (although the picture was too small). I hate detailing those and I never get good results there. My Patriot already has several small scratches :(

I've got trail wounds on my Jeep, and its only got 1200KMs on it. I need a bush bar desperately, along with a lift and running boards. No way will mine ever look that clean. I generally end up going through some mud at least 4 times a week.

Wow! Now that is one shiny Jeep! :)

(Personally, I think the tires look a bit small, but maybe that's just me. Main thing is that they work for the kind of driving you do, right?)

Wow SHARP. That black is cool. It could be a Mafia staff car!

Patriot has now been back to the dealer for the 3rd time for a leaking sunroof. Thursday I will take it in so they can replace the headliner to avoid any mold or mildew. Otherwise, Zero problems!

Hmmm... unless you managed to drive by my house, chances are you didnt see it in Jersey. The only time it left my driveway was when I went shopping in Center City on Sunday and when I went to the Franklin Institute IMAX to see The Dark Knight.

Gaze, for SoJersey your Pat is just too damn clean, pristine might be better.
So it is time for you to get dirty. Take Rt. 70 east to 206 and go south or go south from the Medford circle to Atsion Lake ,north on 206>>>. Just north of the Picadilly, east side, is a fine sand and hardpack road that will take you all the way to Chatsworth. Now that you are prolly almost lost, retrace your steps to your driveway. Take a pic and then wash your Pat. LOL

Keeping these floor mats clean is a pain in the ass!

Found a cheap little Jeep bag at Walmart to store my straps, bunjies, and jumper cables:

I also pulled the 6x9 speakers out of my Intrepid and put them in the front doors of the Jeep. The stockers were okay for stock speakers, but they don't hold a candle to these guys:

I still can not believe how clean that engine is! :wow:

And ha - I've got a large plaxtic box in the trunk instead of a bag. :) (And a jerry can, and an extinguisher, and water bottles, and a bunch of stuff under the floorboard of the trunk... )

Every few washes I try to hose down the engine with some Adams All Purpose Cleaner, then use my Air Compressor to blow it dry. I can't confrim it, but with my other vehicles I feel like I've extended their life by doing so.

Got a nice gift for the Patriot today!

Pioneer TSA6983R 6x9" 4 way speakers. My brother in law got them for his birthday in November but traded his car in on a new one this past week and had no use for the speakers. I offered him cash but he said just to take them! I put them in the rear doors so now I've replaced all 4 speakers. Next up will be some Edead sound deadener. Probably going to do a few other small mods before spring as well!

Got a little more done on my audio project this weekend. I'm just trying something different here... It's made out of recycled parts from other installed, but suprisingly came together very sturdy.

I wish the screw holes had filled a little flatter. I'll probably resand them down and throw another coat of bedliner on them before installing it in my Patriot.
