actually no, Because of a snow storm, they delayed shipping it, and it will probably ship out today. I've been driving a chrysler town and country minivan from the rental company with a bad transmission.Good news is that your wait is almost over. Just remember to check all the work while your there, after a month it should be near perfect.
On the plus side, you've got to drive your new to you saab for awhile!

The delay is the response from the insurance. They sent their guy out, and he looked at the body damage, and OKed it, but didn't look at the wheel/suspension damage, so they had to request an adjuster to come out again and he OKed work on part of the suspension, but not all of it, they took it apart, put it back together, and couldn't get it aligned correctly so more work had to be done, so they had to get the adjuster to come out again and ok more work, and that's been done, now they are waiting for the insurance to verify that they are going to pay for the work done... That verification could happen today or tomorrow (hopefully).Being a Saturday and knowing your insurance agent is closed don't let them hand you a bill for supplemental work -- tacked onto the deductible or some such. I've had a (dealer recommended) shop try that. When I refused, they backed off and said they'd take it up with the insurance company themselves. Initially they refused to return my car unless I paid it. My insurance company complimented me for not falling for that.
Second, why does it take so long? I know; "quality work" they say. But most of the time your vehicle sat at the back of their lot waiting for the cheaper aftermarket parts to arrive. Then when they arrive, the crew gets pushed extra hard to hurry up and get that thing outta heah!![]()
