Does anyone who has gotten a lift on their Patriot still have the original springs? I am looking for just the 1" lift those springs give over the non trail rated pats, I don't want the 2+ inch lift the RRO give. I don't want to have to get new bigger tires and the whole 9 yards. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Check out CRDSTU's coils from here: http://www.murchisonproducts.com.au/shop/patriotcompass-20”-suspension-system

I've heard great things and he will custom make whatever you want. I emailed him and he has a quote for me all ready...Now to get some spare change...

Hrs actually just asking for the fdii springs. They provide an inch over the stock height patriots. The OP is looking for someone with the FDii that swapped to stus and still has their old springs.

the FDII springs only actually give you .5". The other .5" comes from the 215/65-17 tires, vs the 215/60-17 tires. If OP wants a full inch. I recommend the stus. If he wants the FDII springs, an gain just the .5", he'll need to upgrade to slightly larger tires as well. 225/65-17 tire have fit for most people with 0 issues at all (yokohama geolander ATS), which is basically the same size as 225/70-16 if you have 16" rims. They are only .5" taller than the stock tires and 1/3" wider. but it makes a big visual difference.

X2 on the 225/65R17 Geolandars. I have them with no problems. They make the jeep look so much better though!

Has to be springs in a boneyard somewhere, I would think. Didn't they swap in 10 or something, so that all 4x4 Pats have the same springs? Seems they should be easy to find.

I was thinking depending upon price it might be better to just have a better ride and something new/heavy duty for a little more initial investment.

I completely understand, I hope it didn't come off negative. I'd recommend going the stus route more than stock fdii springs.
I didn't know the springs only gave .5" and the tires gave that remainder. Learn something new everyday!

In 2011+ all 4x4 has the same spring height. If you have a pre 2011 FDI or 2WD I'd recommend the STU coils

No problem, I could tell from the way your other posts are you were being positive:smiley_thumbs_up:

To the OP, here's a thread on Stu's coils with pics of before and after. In my opinion you would look fine on stock tires with the 2" lift(but we aren't pressuring you...lol). If you find a parts jeep and want the OEM coils for cheap they will help too.

Thanks for all your responses. I sent an email to murchisonproducts asking for a .75" lift. I already have the 215/65 tires..
