Hi all I just purchased a 2014 patriot and I love it! I am looking for graphics because it looks like everyone else's patriot... any ideas where to find some? I'm a country girl and would love to do other mods also. HONESTLY I don't know where to start considering there are limitations. So if you guys would could you give me some ideas on some of the first things I should consider doing?
Thank you!
Shawn

First of all, welcome to the forum! As far as mods go, although it be simple, the first thing I did was replace the gaudy antenna with a 14 inch black one off of amazon. Also, the Patriot has easy to upgrade speakers if the stock ones aren't cutting it for you. Also, If you don't like the interior lighting you can pretty much replace the bulbs with any color of LED you can think of. Finally, tires...tires...tires. Most Patriots I see are running H/T tires or the stock "All Terain" tires. If you want your Patriot to have the extra off-road edge then replacing the tires with something like the 225/65R17 Yokohama Geolandar AT/S tires is the way to go if you don't plan on a lift. Of course there's many more mods than I've mentioned in this post but those are just a few easy ones that set it apart from "showroom stock" Patriots.

Hope you enjoy your Jeep!

X2 on the antenna! Welcome to the forum! Where are you from?

I also like oem Splash Guards, and Window Vent Visors from AVS. Window tint is great on the Patriot if your state allows it.

JeepPatriot.com sticker of course!!

Curt class III trailer hitch and Spare Bumper.

EcoMeter

Have fun!!!

Did you install it yourself? I'm sort of interested in getting one.

I don't have one myself but I have seen them going through mopar parts online, it's a very easy install, all you do is plug it into your OBDII port under the dash and then find a place to mount the monitor... Let me see if I can find a link for it.

Should work for lots of post-1997 vehicles with the OBDII system. Almost guaranteed to work on any 2005+ vehicle. I think mine was about $65.

Welcome!

Basic mods I like: Side window vent shields, hood shield, mud flaps. Hitch is great and useful, as are cross bars. Nice wheels and tires, although I like the wheels that came with mine and the OWL tires. I've seen some new wheels I like, but most I would swap out or paint.

My recommendation for a MPG gauge is investing in a Ultragauge EM v1.2, or v2. You get far more than just a distance to empty indicator. There only 50-75 depends where you look at if you have coupons. Here's a few displays for the item. You can also use these as OBD code readers and diagnostic tool.

Which model Ecometer, 9100, 9105, or another? Also, it looks to me like Mopar sells them, but what would the difference be from a non-Mopar one? (besides prob $20 more...)

Paint your muffler black with a can of Hi-Temp spray paint. That's the first, cheapest, and easiest mod to start with. Then the antenna replacement with one that is black and shorter in length.
