cpole, that lifetime coverage is something to cherish.
Our '07 will be 6 years old on Mar 7, and nothing but one set of pads and one wheel bearing.....tires and oil don't count.

Does need a good buffing on its birthday.

One inexpensive Jeep for us, and this is #5.:D

You are meaning lifetime powertrain?

We do not have that here in Canada. My powertrain warranty ran out Nov 2012.

2.4L is strong though and with the manual trans, it is pretty simple to maintain.

For Jeep lover, it does not get nay better for someone like me living in the city. Decent quality, good mileage, functional and parctical for family etc.

Id say they are great had 208312 on my 07 never serviced cvt and it drove like a dream I do like the 14 much better it handles so much better than the 07

Still love Ignatz, my 08 Patriot. 100% reliable. Only modest repairs, other than a tranny that went south at 110,000, but that was covered completely by the lifetime warranty. Indeed, with that in place it will be hard for those coupons promising fabulous trade-in values to gain any traction with me. I can deal with scheduled repairs and normal wear-out. As long as the little guy starts every morning he'll have a place in my garage. Just got a new set of sneakers for his front paws!
