Just got home with my Patriot. I drove to the dealership to pick up a white with slate grey interior, came home with an Inferno Red Pearl Sport with pearl beige (which I love WAY more). :banana:
Trade-in for my Expedition seriously blew, but considering I wasn't deep into a high payment, it wasn't all bad. Unfortunately the drive home was in the dark, so I didn't get to gawk at it (or be gawked at!) much, but there is always tomorrow bright and early when I get to enjoy the commute without counting the gas stations!
Thank you everyone on the forum for helping me make an informed decision - I felt like I could have schooled the salesman a bit considering all I have learned from lurking on this site.
I don't know the lingo yet - I got the Inferno Red Pearl Sport, with the 26E package (?) My only issue was that while the white came with the tonneau cover, the red did not, and apart from offering to sell it to me, I wasn't going to get out of there with one. Eh, there's always eBay!
