Darryl (Liberty), Denise and I are going to the Buena Vista area for the weekend of June 21-22 if anyone is interested in joining us. We'll be camping somewhere near Agnes Vaille Falls in the San Isabel Nat'l Forest and exploring some trails around the area. It is Denise's hunting grounds for this fall. Leaving Denver Friday evening and returning Sunday evening. Feel free to throw your name down if interested.

So, it's gonna be very cold at night for camping this weekend, and Denise rolled her ankle at work today. So, we're trimming back our plans to a trail run on Saturday. We'll be doing Mosquito Pass from Alma, CO to Leadville, CO. CLICK Should be a good time, and it's a beautiful area.

This one's gonna be a hell of fun...
Agnes Vaille Falls is definitely a must see. I've been there before with my buddies and we took Chaffee County Road 162 westbound, past the Mt. Princeton Hot Springs into Chalk Creek Canyon. We saw clearly marked trailhead and parking area about five miles west of the hot springs.

Let me know how Mosquito Pass is. We wanted to tackle it when we went through Leadville on our way home this past April, but it was closed due to snow.
