The dealer actually tried to low ball me and appraised my 08' at $7200. NADA clean trade-in value was about $9100. It had about 72,500 miles. Absolutely no problems, recently detailed, fairly new tires, new brakes, little wear and tear and just a small 4 inch hairline crack on the windshield(repaired). It had an aftermarket double glass moonroof installed and parking sensors. I gave the saleslady the poker face and told her i'm disappointed at the appraisal and that i'll just sell it myself and will think about coming back to her. Then she asked how much do you think it is? Just for fun I said, $10500. She then spoke to her manager and they offered $9850. I'm sure they'll still make a couple of thousands after resell. Since i've already invested 2hrs at the dealers I took the offer and came home with the 2014! I didn't even think about trading it in at first, just went to the dealers on a bored Saturday morning to test the waters!
