Ok I'm going for it. I finally got the nerve up. I just got my Flowmaster Super 44. Now I'm getting rid of the super quiet stock muffler. I chose the Super 44 because it gets a deeper, less rice, rumble from most 4 cyl and from what I've seen with Toyota it tends to be somewhat quieter. Sort of. I have not been able to find anyone who has done this before so I figure it will take some time to do it right. On Friday I will start getting it put together and will post pictures.

Basic same stock displacement, the manufacturer doesn't really matter that's why I say 4 cyl. I can listen to your hushpower 2 on different vehicles with the same stock displacement and there pretty much all gonna sound the same. I have heard the huspower 2 also. Like I said before I'm glad some off you like it. They don't sound good to me. Since some people like them and some people think they sound like crap I will leave it at that and stop jacking up the op thread.

Not so much. The Boxer engine on those Scoobies sound way different than your standard inline. Perhaps too much mullet over your earholes?
I think it's way late for that. This thing is way derailed.

I personally love my flowmaster tone! it is not loud and high pich but rather quiet and a bit deep, not so ricey sounding. I think there is a difference in sound from muffler to muffler. it's also a belief of mine that a vehicle sounds different if it's a different manufacturer even if the displacement is the same size

My thoughts as well. Things like timing, compression, bore and stroke all make the exhaust note unique in my opinion.
