I have a black sport 4x4 5 speed and the stock muffler sticks out like a sore thumb to me. Going to the muffler shop today. Anything suggestions of what brand and type muffler to ask for? I'm looking for a muffler that's tucked away better with a decent tone.

I just tell everyone it's the gas tank and they stop complaining about how it looks.

Paint it black and have someone drive it around behind your JK on some trails. It will be MUCH louder when you're done.:Racing:
Had any problems with the Glasspack? I'm thinking of doing the same thing. I can't stand not being able to here the engine.
And does it bug anyone else that the muffler is bigger than the gas tank???

Well, mines 2012, I bought it used (with 7,500 miles) and the muffler was black. Idk if the previous owner had painted it or not. All I know is that whoever painted it, whether the previous owner or the factory, did not do a good job because the paint is peeling off like it's going out of style...

flowmaster makes a black muffler designed for four cylinder engines, it is a black muffler! 2011 up does come darker....but you still can't hide ugly, with just black paint!!!

TJM,I do have that setup. it sounds great for being a little 4 cylinder and it looks even better! I have pictures floating around somewhere. I also have a video on youtube. I plan on doing an update though as It has broken now and I want to do a cold start video.
