2010 Optic Green FDI

well... 2-4 LEDs in each slot, so 14-28 LEDs. I've been looking at 40w LEDs on ebay, they are about 8 bucks a pop, but then I have to figure out how to wire them, how to weather proof them, and how to get them to stay in place behind the grill... I believe on the 2011's and up the grill comes off seperate? so I may take mine off this weekend (my weekend is sun-tues) and see what I make of them.

what I really need to do is talk to somebody who knows something about LED lights, and wiring... don't know all the pieces I'll need...

This sounds awesome. I'm going to get some blaze green plasti dip and dip some chrome grill inserts off ebay, but LED lights in there would be awesome as well.

MB, appreciate the honest opinion. I did too like the look of the old setup better but it wasn't practical at all. Those lights didn't produce any light at all and I needed something brighter that I can actually use.

How does it light up compared to Warn lights?

I've been looking at these CREE ones on DealExtream...

2x - 20W 1820lm 6000K 2-Cree XM-L T6 LED
Or - 80W 7280lm 8-Cree XM-L T6

Can't really compare the two since Warn are fog lights with yellowish glass and LED bar has flood beam white light output.

I'm thinking about returning Warn lights to their original position and moving the light bar on top of the bull bar. Thoughts?

I personally like the light bar where it is, maybe try a custom windshield mount for your warns?

Have you thought about mounting it to the front of the cross bar of your roof?

Pretty sure that's where mine would go if I bought one

Man thanks a lot for those pictures. I was wondering how it would look. My basket is not on all the time. I only use it for camping trips as I can use those extra 2-3MPG.

What did you do to mount the radio? I'm about to put a 2 meter in mine and pretty much decided that's about the only place it will fit.
